Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.

The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025; the underlying Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 has been repealed by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. A reference to that platform is therefore deliberately absent here.

Liability for content and links

We are responsible for our own content on these pages under general law. However, we are not obliged to monitor third-party information or to investigate circumstances indicating unlawful activity.

This website links to external pages in a few places — in particular to crisis lines and support services. We have no influence over their content. At the time of linking they were reachable and their content gave no cause for objection. If we become aware of a legal infringement, we will remove the link without delay.

The content of this site, the Kintso trade mark and the design of the app are protected by copyright. Any use beyond the cases permitted by law requires our consent.

Data processing on this website

This site loads nothing from third parties — no web font, no analytics tool, no tracking pixel. The film on the home page sits on the same server as the page too, and is only fetched once you start it. It sets no cookies and sends no usage events.

It places exactly one entry on your device, and only if you trigger it yourself: switch between the light and dark appearance at the top, and your browser remembers that choice (key kintso-thema, value light or dark). It never leaves your device, holds no identifier and is read by nobody. You can delete it through your browser's site data. Because this entry is strictly necessary for the setting you asked for, it needs no consent (section 25(2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG) — and therefore no consent banner either.

When you visit, our host processes technically necessary connection data in a server log (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): the address requested, the time, the browser identifier, the referring page and the IP address. We read those logs to see how often which page is opened — nothing beyond that. They are combined with nothing, passed on to nobody, and are available at the host for six weeks. You can object to this evaluation under Art. 21 GDPR; write to us. How Kintso as an app handles data is set out in the privacy policy.
